Who would have known that studying publishing would keep me away from reading!
I have spent the last few weeks immersed in getting to know the process of how a manuscript becomes a published work, and when not doing that I am proofreading sheet after sheet of textbook pages.
But, I am back! I am so glad to be back!
Firstly I would like to let you guys know that Amy over at The Black Sheep Dances has sent me an award. Now, I should say that this award is fairly ironic considering it is the "Prolific Blogger" award and I have been less than a "Prolific Blogger" over the past weeks. Having said this I am so excited to accept the award and promise to do a bit better from now on.
Now, onto the juicy stuff; books!
I have two reviews for you today; one being a classic which I am sure you have all heard of (unless you dwell under a Siberian rock, and even then I am sure you would have heard of it at some point) and the other is a newbie book full of action and thrills.
Then in the coming weeks I have a big selection coming your way, including (in no specific order);
The Eye of the Leopard by Henning Mankell
The Hurricane Party by Klas Ostergren
Out Stealing Horses by Per Petterson
Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man by Steve Harvey
Metra City: Destiny's Kiss by Jaree Francis
Musical Chairs by Jen Knox
The Uniques: Act 1 Dawn by Adam Stiles
Cannibals' Gold by Richard G. Tomkies
The Cicada by Inge Meldgaard
The Health Farm Murders by Merryll Manning
The Pack by LM Preston
Revenge by Sharon Osbourne
Wicked by Gregory Maguire
Love in a Torn Land by Jean Sasson and,
Quentins by Maeve Binchy
I hope you guys can read along with me on a few of these and I look forward to each and every one of your comments!
Happy Reading!
