Hello Everyone!I just thought I would give you a little update on whats been happening;
1. My son has his first book parade tomorrow so I have been very crafty and have made a cute Thomas the Tank Engine costume for him. He is going to blow all the other kiddies away! (Photos of the creation process)
2. I am half way through reading The Passion Dream Book by Whitney Otto. You may remember her as the author of How to Make an American Quilt, which is one of my favourite movies (no, I haven't read the book). So far I am really enjoying this book and I cannot wait to write up the review in a few days time.
3. My second book club is coming up next Thursday evening and we will be discussing The Old Curiosity Shop by Charles Dickens. I haven't read the book yet, I am leaving it till next week so that it is fresh in my mind for the meeting. But I am very excited to have a few more people sign up for the club.
4. After the book club, my next read will be Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt.
